RoaD DucK
Road Duck are a musical band that was assemmbled in 2009 by a group of students with related musical ancestry. Starting from improvised jam sessions, Road Duck attempt firstly to experiment with their own, original musical compositions, rather than covers. In 2011 they decide to record their own demo at Steppa of Sigmataf. Since then many live appearances followed, in known venues of Athens and festivals throughout the country. Their sound is a combination of dub and reggae music with many elements of post and psychedelic. This, of course, was never a constriction in the musical influences or the work of the band, which never stops forming and reforming. After all, each member continues their own musical searches at the same time, whether that has to do with musical studies, or personal productions in other genres. The relationship of Road Duck with music focuses mostly in the seeking and succession of emotions. Their dynamic is based on improvisation and because of that they often organise and participate in collective jam sessions, initiating new members of the audience in the musical process.
